    Motif site analysis?

    Hi everybody

    I was wondering is there any software around which you can analysis the proteome for different motif site such as p-site etc.?

    Motif-x can be used to find motifs de novo from sets of modified peptides. (http://motif-x.med.harvard.edu/)

    Or th Group-based prediction system can find known motifs in your data set. (http://gps.biocuckoo.org/)

    IceLogo tool is also very helpful. It is available from google code repository here.

    I tried to access IceLogo. However, even I have gmail account, I can not enter the google code site. Can you tell me why?

    Hi Kambiz,

    This is strange. When you go to the site, you should be seeing a page like the image I have attached. You can download it by clicking on the Download arrow button(circled in the image).icelogo.png

    I think you must be doing this already. If you cannot see the page, contact your system admin. Maybe he will know the reason.

    Google Code is blocked in Iran. But the exact same file is available for download here.

    ٌWell it does not work . As Craig said it si blocked for Iran. Even the site Craig suggested is blocked ...

    I hope these stupied politician can be quit very soon. I think it should be a must for a politician to do science before he or she can get a political position ... It think than the world would be much more safer place to be ...
